Key Attributes

Whether our clients start with either "high-level" assumptive data or granular utilization statistics and inventory sources, ComSci's Source Data Manager acts as the conduit to acquire and normalize the data for upload into our SaaS-based TFM modules. All data is scheduled (daily, weekly, monthly) for receipt and transmission to our secure hosted data and service centers utilzing API's and a secure FTP process. The process is fully automated and supported – our clients need not be involved in handling the "raw" data sources. Source Data Manager acts as the single point of data consolidation across various IT and Financial systems. Audit and scheduling controls are established that highlight timing issues, variances in the data set, missing data, etc. to ensure the integrity of the source data.
Real Time Information
Although many enterprises perform cost modeling activities once or twice a year (e.g., budgeting process), ComSci's Source Data Manager allows our clients to get "real-time" reporting from both a costing perspective as well as supporting the monthly chargeback process. Coupled with the business rules and templates established within our solution, our clients have the ability to monitor real time changes to their financials and the associated utilization that impacts the financials. Monthly IT Product and Service "profit and loss" statements can be generated to provide the IT Executives with insights into their over/under allocation so proactive initiatives can be implemented immediately before the budget is "out of control".
